Rapper Too Short’s Brother Killed During Shooting In Oakland, CA

Legendary Rapper Too Short once rapped ‘life is too short’, and what he said was so true.  Prayers are in order as it has been reported that Too Short’s brother has been killed during a shooting in Oakland, California.

Wayne Shaw of Oakland, CA, the older brother of Bay Area rap legend Too Short, was killed according to a preliminary investigation by police, revealing that individuals attempted to force their way into a cannabis grow using a vehicle in East Oakland on Wednesday. The victim, Wayne Shaw, exited the location and was confronted before being shot multiple times.  Police found 61 year old Wayne Shaw with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Oakland’s Highland Hospital, where he died a few hours later.

OPD Homicide Division investigators responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  No arrests have been made at this time.
