Detroit native, Dajua Blanding best known by her fans as rapper ‘Dank Demoss’ went viral a couple days ago because the Lyft driver would give her a lift because he said she was too big for his car.

In the video Dank Demoss can be heard saying “I can fit in this car,” then the  Lyft driver responded, “Believe me, you can’t.”  The driver then told Dank Demoss his tires couldn’t handle the weight, apologized, and mentioned ordering an Uber XL – a larger vehicle. He added that he would refund the ride so she wouldn’t be charged.

Dajua Blanding AKA Dank Demoss, who describes herself on Instagram as a “PAID PHAT QUEEN” and says she weighs 489 pounds, slapped Lyft with the lawsuit this week.

“I’ve been in cars smaller than that,” she told FOX2 after the suit was filed. “I just want them to know that it hurt my feelings.”

After being served with the suit, Lyft released a statement condemning all forms of discrimination.
