Northeast Ohio Earthquake Detected On Tuesday: Did You Feel It?
It’s been reported that Northeast Ohio experienced an earthquake Tuesday night. Did you feel it?
The U.S. Geological Survey says that a 1.8 magnitude earthquake struck about 4 miles off Lake Erie around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The largest earthquake ever reported in the area was 4.8 in 1986.

People in Northeast Ohio can submit a “Felt Report” to the USGS describing what they experienced during the earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey said Northeast Ohio has a seismic zone with moderately frequent earthquakes.
So, if you’re in the area and you felt something funny beneath your feet last night you may have been in an earthquake!
