Ohio Close to a Recession

Ohio Gov. John Kasich warned Tuesday that Ohio was “on the verge of a recession.”

Kasich made the remarks in an address to Ohio House members, laying the groundwork for what might be a more austere two-year budget proposal next month, Gongwer News Service reported.

Income and sales tax flowing to state coffers are below projections, reported Gongwer, which covers state government.
